Lightning over The City of Castlegar

For the last three months, I’ve been chasing one specific shot up the mountain and back with absolutely nothing to show for it. If you shoot landscape, you know the struggle—the light isn't right, the clouds don't cooperate, or the angles just don't line up, or the storms don’t quite cut it!

I already have a ton of lightning photos looking over Castlegar from other directions, but I just couldn't get it from this specific side. Until now.

It took 90 days of trying and waiting, but persistence finally won. Never underestimate the power of patience in photography!
